Scholarship of up to $1,000 to be awarded
LSU, SU, SLU and ULL juniors or above majoring in print or broadcast communications are eligible to apply.
The Capital Correspondents Association is seeking applicants for a scholarship to be awarded at its 68th Annual Gridiron Show.
Criteria:
• Completion of at least 5 semesters of coursework toward a communications degree, with concentration in print or broadcast
• Full-time enrollment for the Spring Semester
• A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0
Documentation Required:
• Copies of applicant’s transcript and current schedule
• A resume including a statement of applicant’s career goals
• One letter of recommendation from a Communications Department faculty member at applicant’s university or from a working member of the media
• Three (3) examples of applicant’s work in either print or broadcast format – these may include work prepared for course credit
